Ghostdance, the new feature-length film by the Blies Brothers and Kim O’Bomsawin continues to develop and welcomes Les Films d’Ici (Waltz with Bachir, Funan) in the coproduction ranks.
To make a successful entry into the world of fiction, the Blies Brothers and Kim O’Bomsawin have invited the talented screenwriter Valérie Beaugrand-Champagne to join the writing pool, known for having collaborated on several occasions with filmmaker Denis Villeneuve, notably on Incendies (Oscar Nomination, 2010).
The film, supported by the Film Fund Luxembourg, the Canadian Media Fund, Sodec and Radio Canada, is a coproduction between a_BAHN (Luxembourg), Terre Innue (Canada), Les Films d’Ici (France) and Mélusine Productions (Luxembourg). Currently in development, a release is planned for 2022-2023.
